CAROLINE (CARRIE) JULIA BOYNOWSKI (nee BILECKI) On Tuesday, February 13, 2018 Carrie Boynowski passed away at the Holy Family Home, at the age of 90. Born on April 22, 1927 in the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead, Manitoba. She was raised on the farm until she came to Winnipeg as a young woman. Left to cherish her memory are her son Donald and his wife Eugenia of Brampton, Ontario, and her brother Anton Bilecki (Donna), as well as many nieces and nephews. Carrie was predeceased by her husband William (Bill), brothers Walter (Bill) (Victoria), Stanley and Joseph (Joe) (Kay), her partner Joseph (Joe) Ducharme, and his granddaughter Rebecca (Becky). Prayers will be offered at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 23 at the Chapel with Father Alexander Harkavyj of St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul (Orthodox section). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. "Her weary hours and days of pain her troubled nights are past and in our aching hearts we know She has found sweet rest at last."
