VICTOR KOEHN
Born: Mar 10, 1931
Date of Passing: Feb 19, 2018
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTOR KOEHN March 10, 1931 - February 19, 2018 On February 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family, Victor Koehn, aged 86, peacefully slipped away to the place prepared for him in heaven. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Helen; daughter, Julie; son, Vern (Candace); granddaughters; Lindsay, Leigha and Sidney; son, Bruno (Shawn) and granddaughters: Haley and Bryn. Born in Russia, Victor felt blessed to immigrate to Canada, via Paraguay, with his wife and daughter in 1955. He considered Canada to be the greatest country in the world and was grateful his whole life for the opportunity to have lived, worked and raised his family here. Victor was happiest when surrounded by his granddaughters; he cherished them and regularly reminded them of their good fortune to have been born in Canada and the many opportunities in store for them if they worked hard, saved their money and kept family close. The girls were devoted to their Opa and showed their love for him to his last breath. The family wishes to thank the staff at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home for the care and compassion they showed Victor in his last months, as well as to the friends who visited and prayed with him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home. A private funeral and graveside service is planned. Auf Wiedersehen Victor, Dad, Opa. You will live forever in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. If there is an invite to the funeral my father John Quiring would like to attend( I would make arrangements to bring him as he no longer drives. ) Please call me Hedy Paslawski at 1-204-866-2367 with info as Dads memory isn’t as sharp as it use to be. Thank you - Posted by: Hedy Paslawski (Granddaughter to Agnes Quiring ) on: Mar 01, 2018
