HERMAN (HARRY) ZIELKE June 2, 1929 - February 24, 2018 It is with deep sorrow that we, the family, announce the peaceful passing at Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the presence of family, that our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather was taken to his heavenly home. He is the beloved husband of Nancy (Newman), loving father of sons, Murray (Suzan)-Scott, Kayla; Neil (Cynthia)-Erin (Shay Oluyemi), Kendra, Gabriel; daughter Cynthia Goulet-Matthew, Tyler and two great-grandchildren, Asher and AnnaBeth. He was predeceased by infant daughter Twyla Rona-Lee and son-in-law Mike (Michel) Goulet, brothers, Arthur and Lloyd, sister Elsie Hastman and his parents, Edward and Martha (Schroeder) Zielke. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Viewing will be held prior to the service. Pallbearers are son Murray and grandsons, Matthew, Tyler, Scott, Gabriel and Shay. In lieu of flowers, if relatives and friends so desire, donations in Harry's memory may be made to The Gideons of Canada or Gateway Community Church Building Fund. Dear Nancy, Murray, Neil & Cynthia, Not being able to drive since 1990, for health reasons, I was not able to go to Harry's funeral. I give all of you my most sincere condolences on his passing. I think Harry was one of the nicest people that I ever met... very kind, gentle, easy going, and just an all around nice person. I do not have a cell phone, and would like to call you. I am in Ontario visiting some friends at this time and using their computer. I will be home on June 10th. My phone message spots will probably all be filled up. But please send me an email with some phone numbers. I do not have the internet and have to go to someone else's place to use the internet.
