FERDINAND (FERD) SAWATZKY October 27, 1924 - March 1, 2018 Ferdinand Beno Sawatzky, age 93, of Steinbach, MB passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB. He is survived by his wife Martha (nee Rempel), three daughters, two sons, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, one brother, five sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Ferdinand and Martha were married for 70 years. He was employed at Swifts for 27 years. A "Come & Go" viewing will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, with a viewing prior to the service.
