JACK COOTE 1938 - 2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jack on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the age of 79 at Pine Falls Hospital. Left to cherish happy memories are his wife Sharon, daughter Colleen (Garth), son Ian (Jeannette); grandchildren, Jason, Ian, Sharon and Danton; great-grandchildren, Maria, Sophia and Natalie. Jack was predeceased by his parents, Ernie and Mona; sister Sylvia McHugh; parents-in-law, Ken and Rawny McDonald. Jack was born and lived his entire life in Pine Falls. He worked for 42 years for Abitibi/Pine Falls Paper Company. Jack was a great supporter of the community, sitting on many boards and volunteer committees. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling and golfing. He also loved to spend winters, during his retirement, in Texas with his wife and friends. A come and go celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 13 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Pine Falls Legion located at 7 Tamarack Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jack's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or to the Pine Falls District Health Care Foundation, Box 2000, Pine Falls, MB R0E 1M0.
