JACOB (JAKE) WIEBE Peacefully, with family by his side, Jacob (Jake) Wiebe passed away at Pembina Place Personal Care Home, on March 3, 2018 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Agatha (nee Doerksen) Wiebe, and one sister Helen Friesen. He will be deeply missed by Helga (nee Peters), his loving wife of 62 years; five children: Monica, Kurt (Connie), Ingrid (Clarence), Heather (Bernie) and Fred (Christine); 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren: Andrea (Rheal); Aleah (Aron), Brendyn (Stacey), Megan (Jeremy), Matthew (Andrea), Kendra, Brady, Alyssa, Cooper, Brianna, and Austin; as well as Meire Anne (Glenn) and Jessica; brothers, Cornelius (Hilda), John, Abe (Susan); sisters, Nellie, Elizabeth, Agatha, Mary (Ed) and Kathie; and all their families. We will celebrate Jake's life with a funeral and luncheon on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street. Burial will follow at the Springstein Cemetery. Viewing will take place on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church and prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Jacob Wiebe to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
