ANDREW MATTHEW ROHULYCH April 24, 1984 - March 10, 2018 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear son, brother and uncle, accidentally while snowmobiling with friends, near Powerview, MB. Andrew will be sadly missed by his parents, George and Adele, brother Matthew (Amanda), niece London, grandmother Anne Burns, godfather Ken Burns (Crystal), godmother Julie Payjack, his cousins, Heather, Sheila (Tyler), Karen (Dimitri), Laura (Rob), Marnie (Justin), Craig, Neil, Lainie, and many other relatives, colleagues and friends. Andrew was born in Winnipeg and enjoyed growing up and going to school in Lorette, MB. Even at a young age he was fascinated by computers and all things electronic. His other interests were the outdoors and music he played piano, keyboards and enjoyed playing bass in a band with his friends. He attended the University of Manitoba and Red River College in pursuit of his career in electronic engineering technology. Andrew began work at BSD Solutions in 2008. There his love for technology and zeal for learning enabled him to realize his dreams, when he was involved as the company's technical lead in such projects as the Manitoba Hydro building, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and the new Selkirk General Hospital. Andrew was well-respected in his field and loved working with his BSD family. Andrew was a man of kindness and quiet strength who had genuine concern for others. He loved his adventures with his brother Matt, which often landed him in some kind of pickle. He enjoyed get-togethers with family and friends, and was always there for them whenever a hand was needed. He cherished his time at the cabin at Bird River, boating, fishing and snowmobiling. He had a strong faith which was reflected in the way he lived his life. He touched many hearts and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to the snowmobilers, STARS ambulance and the Powerview RCMP who assisted Andrew and comforted him at the accident scene. We cannot begin to express our gratitude for your efforts. Rosary and Eulogy will be held on Saturday, March 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Notre Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Dawson Road, Lorette, MB with Mass of Christian Burial commencing at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. If so desired, family and friends may make a donation to the Andrew Rohulych Memorial Fund at Red River College.
