Astrid and I worked together for a short time at the CLSF Lab at the U of M, I filled in for her when she was away on a sick leave. I enjoyed meeting her and her husband as they would pop in here and there to say hello to old friends. My deepest condolences to the family, may she be at Peace. Sincerely, Gwen and husband Colin, sons Justin and Matthew - Posted by: Gwen Band (U of M Work Colleague) on: Mar 18, 2018

Astrid was my best friend growing up as a child. I regard her just as dearly now as I did back then. Her lifetime was cut short but the impact on the lives she touched will last forever. My love goes out to Onkel Edwin and Tante Lilly and family. May God fill you with peace as you grieve knowing you will be reunited again. I take comfort in that too!
