My family’s thoughts and prayers are with the Davis family and to whoever else had the privilege of meeting this good man. When growing up I remember Mr. Davis having his dog with him. He was always a kind man and always had a smile on his face! Rest in peace. - Posted by: Allard Rene (Allard/Davis ) on: Mar 26, 2018

My condolences to the family. As a kid who hung out at the station, and later as a cadet, I always appreciated Dunc's friendliness and his joking manner. He was good to all of us as cadets and taught us much even if we didn't have complete uniforms, no rifles, and no blank ammunition for our cannon. I think he created our firewood shell that we used to practice loading the howitzer. Judy was a classmate until Dunc was transferred when we were in grade 10. Judy A. was my first school "girlfriend" although we never went on a real date. Do I remember accurately that Trudy Wiebe was always around? Every time I look at old pictures of Moosomin that feature the station, Dunc is the first person that I think of. - Posted by: Ivan Buehler (Friend & Classmate of Judy; Member of Moosomin Cadets; Bothersome kid at CPR Station) on: Mar 26, 2018

Dunc, as I knew him was a Whirlwind. He came to Beaver Lodge and revitalized it. He brought in several new members and really cared and showed it. Nothing seemed to slow him down. There are a lot of the Brethren who owe Dunc for what he did. As a former past Master, Dunc would give impromptu talks that later was given a name "The Dunc Tank!" He had an ability to simplify several topics and enlighten the lodge and make us laugh or stop and think. I left the lodge sadly after a divorce, the last time I spoke with Dunc was several years ago, he had demitted from Beaver and went elsewhere. Even in ill health he always made me laugh and stop and think. I will miss your laugh and kind nature. - Posted by: Ken Kowaluk (Friend) on: Mar 24, 2018
