HELEN CHYMY Peacefully with her family at her side, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the age of 95 years young, Helen passed away at the Middlechurch Personal Care Home. Helen was predeceased by her husband Joe, son Jerry, daughter Jane, granddaughter Laura; brothers, George, Sam, Nick and Tom. She is survived by her son Terry, daughter-in-law Linda, granddaughters, Tara, Samantha, Hailey, son-in-law Ed, sister-in-law Jean and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Born in Bienfait, SK, she moved to Broad Valley, MB, where she met and married the love of her life Joe and eventually moved to Winnipeg where she spent the remainder of her years. Her life was her family, especially her granddaughters, who she adored. Even though she was committed to her family, Helen still found time to spend years working in the food services industry until her retirement. Grandma was a Tough, Strong willed woman, but she had the heart and soul of an Angel. Her family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of N2S2 Middlechurch Personal Care Home for their loving and compassionate care. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, April 16, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Winnipeg, MB. ln lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to a charity of choice.
