Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYN WENSEL 1925 - 2018 It is with deepest sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dearest sister, aunt and great-aunt Evelyn Wensel on Sunday, March 25, 2018. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Alex; sister Lillian; nephew Darryl; nieces, Wendy-Ann and Lori-Lee Harris; husband Kevin; great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Martha Wensel; sister Margaret; brother-in-law Michael Felkowsky; and sister-in-law Myrna Wensel. She was born in Winnipeg on October 5, 1925. She was a warm, caring person who always greeted you with a smile. Her last position was at Taylor Decorating as a bookkeeper. She was very meticulous with her work. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Thanks to the staff at the Grace Hospital and Kiwanis Courts. Celebration of her life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel located at 1442 Main St. on Saturday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m.

We are so sorry to hear of Dear Evelyn’s passing... having known her since the early 60’s having worked with my husband. We all felt like she was part of our family. We have enjoyed so many outings and phone chats with her thru the years.. we are all going to miss this gracious lady. “What we wouldn’t give to hold her hand to clasp it again, her patient face to see, wish we could hear her sweet voice, to see her smile, as in the days it used to be. Thankfully some sweet day we’ll meet again, beyond the toil & strife. Again we will clasp each other’s hand once again in the heaven of a happy life. Rest In Peace Dearest friend miss you lots... glad no more bad days for you. Thinking of her family Lil, Alex, nephew, nieces, etc and all the love she had for you all. I became friends with Evelyn through Alex. She was always such a gracious lady. Her and I have birthdays a day apart so it was always wonderful to be included in the celebration dinner at the Silver Heights Restaurant. - Posted by: Karen Iwanoczko (Friend) on: Mar 28, 2018
