BRENDA CHRISTINE MARTIN (nee HOWE) April 23, 1950 - March 29, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Brenda passed peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the age of 67, in her home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Brenda is survived by her husband and best friend David, her children Jeffrey (Shelley), Jennifer (Mark), and her brother Billy (Doreen). Brenda has six grandchildren Stephanie (Branden), David (Alexis), Natalie, Ryan, Jessica and Peighton, and two great-granddaughters Airianna and Lily. Brenda's extended family includes two nephews, five great-nephews, one great-niece and many cousins who are living throughout Canada and England, as well as many friends. Brenda cherished every moment with her family whom she loved with her full heart and was always there for them. Brenda will be remembered for her love of travel, music, the arts and shopping, but mostly for her vibrant personality, contagious smile and laugh. Her strength and positivity has been amazing and we couldn't be more proud of her. We will miss you. Huge thanks to the nurses at Palliative Care who were so very kind and helpful to our family. (Janice, Anita, Angela and Tamara). We appreciate all you have done. Also thanks to the ALS Society for their guidance throughout this time and the staff at the Deer Lodge Motor Neuron Disease Clinic. A special thanks to Carol Scott (Occupational Therapist) for her assistance throughout our many physical challenges. A Celebration of Life will be held at Cropo Funeral Home, 1442 Main Street, on Friday, April 6, 2:00 p.m.
