Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOB EPP March 9, 1934 - April 2, 2018 Jacob Bernhard Epp, aged 84, of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2018 at home. He is survived by his wife Norma; four daughters: Ardyth, Lorenda, Kathleen and Treena; three sons: Hans, Kelly and Stacey, and their families. Jack was predeceased by his first wife Teena, his parents, a brother, sister, and grandson. Jack was born in Whitewater, Manitoba and was the fifth out of eight children. His love of farming never left as he loved to go back home for fall harvest. Jack began his working career for his brother-in-law John's service centre and remained in the car business his whole life. Jack met Teena, the first love of his life, married July 9, 1955 and to that union five beautiful children were born. Over the years in Winnipeg and Steinbach they made many great friends enjoying curling, card-playing, golfing and raising family. Years later, Jack met the second love of his life, Norma and with this union he gained two sons. They enjoyed many travels with friends and family. Jack (Pappa/Opa) had no shortage of love to give to his 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Jack, member of Grace Mennonite Church for 50+ years and sang in several choirs that brought great joy to many. His other passions included hunting, golfing, and family time. A private viewing will take place on Friday, April 6. A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Mennonite Church in Steinbach.
