Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Darcy and Sheri, I was talking today with Rene and Jane Pereux and they told me about your dad passing. So so many fond memories of Dad throughout a lot of years. Fond memories of you both and your Mom as well. Sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Heather Patterson (Family friend) on: May 21, 2018

  • I had the good fortune to have the LaFrance’s as neighbors for over 20 years, George and Pat were wonderful people to know. Our condolences to Darcy and Sheri. Brian, Kelly, Jenna, Edith, and Henry Johannsen - Posted by: Brian Johannsen (Neighbor) on: Apr 28, 2018

  • I worked at the front desk at Shapes in the morning at Nairn for over a year. Every morning George would come in with the biggest smile on his face and always brought the sunshine into the gym even when it wasn't sunny outside. I always looked forward to seeing him in the morning because he always brighttened my day. He was a fixture at that gym and he won't ever be forgotten. My condolences to the family and friends. He is very much missed by the morning crew at the Nairn Shapes. - Posted by: Etta (Friend from Shapes) on: Apr 28, 2018

  • George was the sweetest man at Shapes! Every time I would come to the gym in the morning, I’d have to arrive 30 minutes before the daycare opened so that my twin toddler girls could stop and talk to George, and show him whichever toy they brought with them that day! He always took the time to chat with everyone, and was such a ray of sunshine! He will be deeply missed by all the morning Shapes regulars! - Posted by: Samantha (Friend from Shapes gym) on: Apr 18, 2018

  • I'm really going to miss the great conversations I had with George every morning at the gym. Mostly about CFL football and how proud he was of his grandson Kienan (he even gave me some autographed photos of that awesome snow game). George seemed to have time to stop and talk to everyone and he will be sorely missed by all of the regulars at Shapes. My sincere condolences to his family. - Posted by: Mark Pernitsky (Friend from Shapes Fitness) on: Apr 12, 2018
