Growing up on the farm with two single uncles from the Rempel family living nearby, there was plenty of interaction as they were very fond of my mom's company and I suspect cooking! He was the role model to my brothers and us girls and musical hero, particularly for me, as he led the male choir (I played for them for several seasons). He was so positive towards me and the fount of all musical knowledge. He and his brother Bill were involved in the "Sangerfests" (German word) and I remember those summer hot evenings they would take us to practices. He loved the grey cup, sports in general, and I remember his presence there in our home in front of the TV. Then along came Aunt Betty and the rest became history as I moved to the city. Many wonderful remembrances. - Posted by: Alice Cover (Niece) on: Apr 15, 2018

Sincere condolences Elizabeth, Darryl, Charmaine and family. Through tax and business consultations I knew Herman as a generous, honest and straight forward person who radiated a calm and peaceful demeanor. May God give you peace and comfort as you deal with his passing. - Posted by: Gilles Chaput (business friend) on: Apr 11, 2018
