Jean was a farmer, then he worked at many different jobs. His passion was repairing just about anything, but mostly any type of motor. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, being in nature and listening to his hockey games (favouring the Montreal Canadiens). He was a quiet, unassuming, selfless man, generous almost to a fault and a loyal, faithful and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend who will be sadly missed by those who knew him. Au revoir papa, pepère. Reposes-toi bien, tu le mérites. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus #4819, Box 1092, Ste. Anne, MB R5H 1C1. Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
