Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIRGILIO PAIXAO FARIA It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather, Virgilio Paixao Faria, who passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Thursday evening, June 7, 2018 at the age of 81. Born in Serra de San Antonio, Portugal May 15, 1937. Virgilio leaves behind: his spouse Maria de Lourdes; children, Jorge (Shelly), Joao (Elizabeth) and Celia (Patrick); grandchildren, Jose, Sean, Alexis, Carlos and Richard, along with many relatives in Canada and Portugal. Virgilio was predeceased by his parents, Antero and Maria de Conceicao Paixao Faria from Portugal, and his brother Alfredo. Virgilio immigrated with wife and children to Winnipeg in 1974. He had worked at Wilson Auto Electric for many years before retiring in 2002. Services in his honour will be as follows: Prayers Wednesday, June 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 181 Austin Street N. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church, then procession to Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue West.
