Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY EMILY YASHUK On June 9, 2018, we lost our mom, Mary Emily Yashuk (Paskiewicz), beloved wife of Joe Yashuk, passed one week before their 61st wedding anniversary. She leaves a huge hole in our hearts. Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma is survived by her children, Dorothy (Ron) Hamerling, George (Kelly) Yashuk, Susan (Mark) Neumann, Wayne (Leanne) Yashuk and Paula (Jason) Quick, her 12 grandchildren, Elisha, Anthony, Tammy; Jamie, Darrell, Kurt; Mandy, Kristy, Danielle; Randy, Ryan, Derek; and seven great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded by her brother Stan, and her son Allan. Mary cherished her time with family and friends who were always welcome in her home and cottage. She had a passion for cooking and baking, gardening, and play time for her children and grandchildren. Mom loved her time at the lake, going for long walks, fishing and late night cribbage games that crept into the early mornings. Mom enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table with a coffee in hand watching the birds in the garden. In her later years, Oscar, her little dog brought much joy to her life. Mary was a proud mom and grandma who took much interest in her children's lives and activities. Mom... We cried endlessly when you passed, but we promise we won't let the tears mar the smiles you gave us when you were with us. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 13 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 14 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel.

To the Yashuk family . . I am truly sorry to hear your mom has passed away - may she rest in peace. I remember back in the good old days growing up and being friends with Susan, I would come over and your mom was always so kind and treated me as just as one of her own - mom's are the best! On behalf of the Nolan family, I offer our condolences. Mrs. Yashuk was a beautiful woman, inside and out. I’ll always fondly remember her joyful and contagious laugh, the good times spent chitchatting and eating around the kitchen table, and feeling like a grownup in her presence, even though I was still a child.
