ROBERT NORMAND It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob Normand on June 8, 2018. Bob was born in Winnipeg on December 31, 1945. Left to mourn Bob's passing are his daughter Chelsae Parker (Rob); granddaughter Elodie Parker; sister Susan St. Germain (Rob); nieces, Stacey (Chris), Carrie and Tara (Troy); grandnephews, Quinn and Cooper, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins of the Normand family. Bob was predeceased by his dad Napoleon and mom Enid Normand and brother Darcy. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue at Henderson Highway. Interment to follow at St. Vital Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3. "You will be in our hearts forever. Rest in peace." www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

Bob was a regular customer of mine, who visited Walmart St Vital almost daily. He made sure to know my schedule so he never missed me. He would walk in, stand tall and look for me, or listen to hear me (I am a loud speaker) My name is Monique, and My son is James (6yrs) Bob absolutely loved hearing about my son, and nicknamed him Juniour. Bob came in with fruit snacks for me every time, slipped them in my hand. The last fond memories of I have was when Bob gave me a baseball from his collection especially for "Junior" He said get him started and have fun. I enjoyed every story Bob told me, all his baseball ones were the best. He had been around, a great guy, a humble man, and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to meet him.
