WALTER FEDON Suddenly on June 20, 2018, in the evening, Walter Fedon passed away at the age of 77, with his family at his side. He leaves to mourn his wife Lorraine. He will be missed by son Richard (Tracy) Fedon, daughter Lucie Diane, son Leslie (Cheryl) Fedon, Lorraine's children, Donna, Randy and Brenda (Richard); all his grandchildren, Andrew, Robert, Thomas, Jason, Braden, Landon, Brandon, Byren, Marshall, Sabrina, Koby, along with great-granddaughters, Ellaina and Everly; sister-in-law Mary (Henryk) Zoledowski, and many other family and friends. Walter was predeceased by his first wife Emily, and parents Mary and John Fedon. Walter was born May 1, 1941 in Bircza, Poland and came to Canada in the early 1950s with his parents. Walter worked for the City of Winnipeg Water Works as a foreman until his retirement. He was an active member at the Legion 246 for many years. Also many years of volunteering in different organizations, especially with St. Mary's Polish National Church in many capacities. Prayers will be said on Monday, June 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 26 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Cemetery.
