Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS GERHARD EPP March 20, 1986 - June 22, 2018 With broken hearts, we announce that Thomas Epp died unexpectedly on June 22, 2018. Thomas is lovingly remembered by his parents, Gerhard Epp and Marlene Penner Epp; brothers, Aaron (Mandy Elliott) and Daniel (Anna-Marie Janzen); grandmother Helen Penner; numerous aunts and uncles; 23 cousins and countless friends. Thomas was predeceased by his grandparents, Gerhard and Maria Epp and John Penner; uncle Jake Rempel; and cousins, Christian, Taylia and Kaylyn Penner. Thomas was a loving, kind, passionate, generous and loyal man who was committed to his family, friends and faith. He was intelligent, charismatic, adventurous and quick-witted. He enjoyed working with his hands and building relationships along the way. He was an energetic force in many people's lives, with a social calendar that most would find dizzying. Always the life of the party, he packed a lot into his 32 years. We wish to express our hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, whose suffering serves as an example. We grieve, but we are not entirely bereft or without hope. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Douglas Mennonite Church, 1517 Rothesay Avenue. Viewing prior to service with interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends and family desire, donations may be made in Thomas' memory to Westgate Mennonite Collegiate, 86 West Gate, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2E1.

Gerhard, Marlene, Aaron and Daniel. I just learned today of this heartbreaking news. I am shocked and saddened for you that your son, a man full of life, has left our earth for a heavenly life. As a newcomer to Canada and Winnipeg, Thomas was one of the first people to make me feel at home and welcome in the community that we shared and were involved in. I have been fondly reflecting on some memories of ours, bonding over music, sharing jokes and spinning yarns. A truely gentle soul and an absolute gentleman.
