JANAT SADIE CLEMIS (nee NOWELL) It is with great sadness the family of Janat Sadie Clemis announces her passing on June 24, 2018 at the age of 82. She will be lovingly remembered by her girls, Sadie, Lawrie, Janat and Wendy, brother Jack, sister Patricia, eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Dick Nowell. Janat was love and kindness - a friend to all. She loved her family and her animals. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and was a blessing in their lives. Jen, Adam, Bonnie, Crystal, Brian, Erik, Aiden and Sophia will always have her love in their hearts. She lived her life mostly on the farm and loved nature. She was the most kind and loving woman who loved to socialize and keep busy. Her hobbies were living the farm life tending horses and goats, cooking, sewing, reading, and any outdoor activity, especially fishing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. At her request cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Janat will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn, with her beloved mother and father. An incredible thank you to the staff at Red River Place for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Janat's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 0R3.
