JOAO (JOHN) CARLOS CARVALHO It is with great sadness the family of John, of Mississauga, ON, formerly of Winnipeg, MB, announces his passing after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, June 24, 2018. Joao was born, September 14, 1954 in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal. He was one of six children born to the late Manuel and Maria Carvalho. John is survived by two other brothers, Eusebio Carvalho (Patricia) and Manuel Carvalho (Christine) and three sisters, Maria Moniz (Jose), Ilda Medeiros (Guy) and Alexandrina Lindo (Frank) all from Winnipeg, Manitoba. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of John on Saturday, June 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg, MB with Rev. Msgr. Maurice J. Comeault, P.H. officiating.
