HEDY SENYSKIW (nee BERNHARDT) August 7, 1924 - June 24, 2018 With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Hedy Senyskiw. She was born August 7, 1924 in Dolyna, Ukraine and she lived her life for knowledge and experiences. Hedy enjoyed summers gardening at home and relaxing at the lake (Glen Bay). Winters were spent in Warm Mineral Springs, Florida where she enjoyed walking, spending time with friends and was a legend on the dance floor. She spent hours at the Library reading, learning and taking weekly French lessons. Hedy was regularly planning her next big trip and packing her oversized suitcases with enough clothes for every possible situation she may encounter. With many journeys under her belt: Africa, South America and visiting family in Europe, she was always ready for her next adventure. Her kindness, great sense of humour and determination will be missed. Hedy has joined her husband Bohdan, sisters, Josepha, Antonia and Cecile. She leaves behind her brother Richard, and many nephews, nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces. A funeral service for Hedy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St., with Msgr. Michael Buyachok officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
