EDWARD BEREZUK February 28, 1931 - July 6, 2018 With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Edward Berezuk on July 6, 2018 at the age of 87. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife Jeanette, of 62 years; son Allan; daughter Janice (Frank); six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Eleanor Berezuk, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Maria, five brothers, and three sisters. Edward was born on February 28, 1931 in Beausejour, MB. Upon completion of high school, he came to Winnipeg and found employment with Mid-West Paper. He enjoyed bowling, curling, hunting, and fishing, and loved to spend the winter months travelling to Hawaii and Barbados. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of Edward's caregivers for their support and kindness. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Eucharist Parish, 460 Munroe Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2K 1H1, or to a charity of your choice. A funeral service for Edward will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St., officiated by Fr. Michael Kwiatkowski. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Cemetery.
