Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTIMOTEJ RYDZI December 13, 1942 - June 22, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Timotej Rydzi. He will be missed by his brothers, Paul (Stella) and Jan (Albina), sisters, Maria and Mila (Ivan), sister-in-law Olga, his niece Jana (Peter), nephew Jaroslav (Ilona) and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members, living in Slovakia and Czech Republic. Timotej was born in Hlohovec, Slovakia. He was one of 12 children of Anna and Frantisek Rydzi. During his studies he joined the soccer team and while on a trip to Italy in 1970 he asked for asylum and later joined his brothers, Paul and Emil in Winnipeg. Soon after he started working at CPR where he remained until his retirement in 2006. He loved to travel, soccer, hockey and other sports. He was a proud individual. In accordance with his wishes, his remains will be repatriated to Slovakia where an interment will take place at a later day.
