Dearest Barb, I pray that you and your family may be comforted by the One whose Son went before us to prepare the way. May the promise of the ressurection bring hope and some measure of peace to each of you as you walk this challenging journey over the coming weeks and months. Know you are not alone, regardless of how it may feel. You are beloved of God, and remembered & cared for by a multitude here on earth. My deepest condolences to everyone. I learned of his passing just this morning and I am being flooded with memories of beard growing, the y, tasting a spicy crystallized ginger piece, Mr S staying with me when I was too sick to go to church. He will be missed. My love to you all. Lori - Posted by: Lori (Family friend) on: Jul 25, 2018

Dear Barbara; I am so sorry to read of the passing of Leo. Although I never met him, I know how special he was just from the way you spoke of him. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family. Rhoda - Posted by: Rhoda Eadie (Mothers' Union Friend) on: Jul 24, 2018

To my dear friend Barbara, I am very sorry that Leo has passed. When I spoke with you by phone a few weeks ago, you and Leo were teasing each other and laughing. Although I met him only twice, Over the years, I've learned how much joy he gave you, how he loved being your "Home Guard" (as he told me when I phoned one time), and how you spoke of him so often, and so lovingly. I am holding you in my heart. With love to you and all your family, Carolyn - Posted by: Carolyn Pogue (Friend) on: Jul 24, 2018
