Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • So hard to lose Johnny. I smiled when I read he was referred to as "crusty". Yes, he was crusty. It hid his soft side. He was loving, funny and forever honest and real. He told it like it was, like it or not and always made me laugh. He tried so hard to be serious, but that twinkle in his eye always gave him away. So many years, good times and memories we share with John and family. You leave an empty place in our hearts. We will fill it with our memories and remember the good times. Peter will miss his big brother and so will I. Sleep well John. Love and hugs, Barb and family ♥ - Posted by: Helen Kilborne (Sister-in-law) on: Aug 21, 2018

  • I am very sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it is to lose a parent/grandparent and you lost him way too soon. He will be remembered by me for his honesty. If I thought I needed something done to my car that he didn't think I did, he said so. I appreciated that about him. Barbara, Sherry and Jason and grandchildren, I sincerely hope the treasured memories you have of him will help you get through this sorrowful time. Take care of yourselves! - Posted by: Ms. Daly (Brendan and Tyler's Kindergarten teacher and Jason's teacher!!) on: Aug 17, 2018

  • John, you were always one of the good guys, someone we could go to and get an honest, sometimes feisty answer. I have 42 years of good memories at your shop. My sincere condolences to your family. You are loved by many. - Posted by: Dianne Renick (Client and friend) on: Aug 16, 2018

  • I work at Piston Ring. John (Crusty) was one of our very good customers. It was always a pleasure talking with him and we would always have a good laugh together. My condolences to his family. He will truly be missed. - Posted by: Scott Devisser (Friend) on: Aug 13, 2018

  • We are deeply sorry to hear the passing of John. We always considered him and the family good friends. He always had time when we had trouble with our vehicles and did a great job on getting us on the road again for some thirty plus years. John, may you rest in peace, you surely will be missed. To Barb and family, our condolences. The Nolan family - Posted by: Roy, Deb and family (Friends) on: Aug 11, 2018
