Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND KENNETH SARGENT May 12, 1946 - August 13, 2018 It came very unexpectedly that our lives would be forever changed. It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing our husband, dad, grandpa, brother and brother-in-law, son, uncle, great-uncle, nephew and cousin. Surrounded by his wife and three children, he passed at St. Boniface Hospital. Raymond is survived by his wife Sandra; his children, Michael (Shelly), Raymond Jr. (Eric), Candice (Stephane); as well as seven grandchildren, Brennan, Jordyn, Kennedy, Kylie, Evan, Maxime and Matthieu; sisters, Gladys, Lorna (Cliff), Doreen (Jack) and Raylene (Darryl) and their families. Raymond was preceded in death by parents, Raymond Sargent and Emily McCrae. Born in Winnipeg, he resided and worked his entire life. Raymond met his soulmate and married the love of his life March 21, 1970. Raymond and Sandra did many things together, such as enjoying a Saturday afternoon lunch at the mall and spending time watching their grandchildren play sports, their grandchildren always came first! Raymond worked at Brock White for the last several years and made many friends. One to mention is Donny, who between the two of them were always teasing and bugging each other, especially when it came to their morning coffee and blueberry muffins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A special thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their efforts with our husband, dad, grandpa..

I worked with Ray for many years at Voidform. Ray was there every day and never complained. I used to make him laugh a lot. He helped me get my daughter a job at the clinic where Sandy worked and that started her on a career in medicine. I was surprised to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to the Sargent Family. Mr. Sargent was a good man with a great sense of humour. Although we didn’t get to spend much time with you in the past, we will miss you. Fly with the angels! - Posted by: Lisa (Ex Daughter In Law) on: Aug 29, 2018

Ray was always ready to help with anything I needed. He always brought a smile to my face. I will always hear his whistling when I walk the warehouse. He will be missed. - Posted by: Darryl Giesbrecht (Co-worker) on: Aug 24, 2018

My husband, Mark, worked with Ray at Brock White before his passing last year. I was often entertained with his stories of the antics between Ray and Donnie. I also remember the respect Mark had for Ray at his never ending work ethic and how he never complained and did whatever he was asked to do. My deepest sympathies to his family! - Posted by: Cathie Poulton (Spouse of Co-worker) on: Aug 22, 2018
