LAURENCE DAVIS Laurence (Laurie) Davis died peacefully at home, in the embrace of his family, on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, in his 90th year. Irene, his wife of 61 years, and his brother Walter, predeceased him. Laurie enjoyed a long, satisfying retirement after working for 43 years, many with Manitoba Hydro. He is remembered for his love of life and family. Laurie was especially proud of his children, Mark (Patricia), Claude (Lynne), Anne-Marie (William), Gerald (Cheryl), Greg, Neil (Sheri), Conrad (Jo) and Ellen-Louise (Henryk). His grandchildren also held him close to their hearts, Tara (Kris), Jonathan (Lauren), Courtney, Amanda (Luc), Stephen (Claire), Geoffrey (Samantha), Brady (Carla), Adam (Emily), Andrea (Gil), Claire, Kevin, Karli-Ann, Ethan, Janell, Madelyn, Hillary, Owen, Meghan, Kate; and great-grandson Quinn. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews in extended family. Thanks to Laurie's medical team and Palliative Care Unit. Cremation has taken place. As requested, there will be no public Celebration of Life. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com
