MARY LYNNE BUCHAN It is with great sadness the family of Mary Lynne Buchan announces her passing on September 5, 2018 at the age of 73. Mary was born to Mary and William in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Bill and John Buchan; her children, Rick, Bruce (Tracy), Darren Derwood (Lisette) and Ken (Amanda) Fedyck; grandchildren, Holly, Madison, McKenna, Ryden, Alyssa, Ali, Jacob and Hannah; and stepdaughter Candy. Mary was predeceased by her sister Heather. Mary was a legal secretary, and a teacher at Success, Robertson, and CDI colleges. She was a big fan of Betty Boop, butterflies, and elephants, and she loved all her dogs, especially Sassy, who was there when Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep. She will be remembered as the most loving and amazing mother, and her greatest passion was being the most amazing grandmother to her grandchildren. In keeping with Mary's wishes, no formal service will take place, and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Rest in Peace mother Mary. • I met Mary at Academy of Learning. I knew her and Sassy. They came out to our cabin. When Mary left our cabin, she was driving in the right lane at 100, she said people are so rude. She was driving in the fast lane 100 and people were giving her the finger. LOL. She was such a trooper. May she rest in peace. I hope some of the family will take Sassy. If not, Sassy always liked our dogs. We always liked Sassy and if she's a problem, please get in touch. Your Mom always loved Betty Boop! Condolences. Also by the way...She did not break her arm at our cabin painting...she chose to drive a dirt bike! She said that she knew how! She crashed and fell. SORRY KIDS. - Posted by: Linda Joba (friend) on: Sep 26, 2018

  • Mary came to have a lunch visit, with Sassy, a week before passing. Mary was a wonderful woman, having rough life patches, but Mary persevered. Mary lived her children and grandchildren. Her eyes always sparkled when she spoke of them. You will be greatly missed my friend. Fly free❤️ - Posted by: Marguerita Smith (Very old friend) on: Sep 18, 2018
