EVA NAGY (JACZINA) It is with great sadness and feelings of immense loss that we announce the sudden passing of Dr. Eva Nagy on September 6, 2018 at the age of 73 years. Eva was born in Szeged, Hungary, where she graduated Cum Laude, excelling as a Clinical Endocrinologist before coming to Canada as an MRC Fellow. Here she spent the next 24 years doing research for the Department of Immunology (University of Manitoba), with the last five years devoted solely to cancer research. She was also a contributing author to over 30 publications. Eva was predeceased by her parents, Karoly Nagy and Matild Horvath in Hungary. She leaves behind her loving husband George Jaczina, son George (Jennifer) and their children, Declan and Mya, daughter Eva, mother-in-law Maria, cousins and relatives. As requested, Eva was buried in a private interment.

I am saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Dr. Eva Nagy. We had interesting discussions on a variety of topics related to the interaction of the endocrine and immune systems.
