Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTINNIE TRUSH April 1, 1926 - September 24, 2018 Peacefully on September 24, 2018 Tinnie Trush passed away, at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Meron, of 44 years, her parents and her brothers. Left to cherish Tinnie's memory are her children: Lawrence (Carole), Dorothy (Joe) and Judy (Ed); her grandchildren: Warren (Annika), Jody, Jeremy (Lenore) and James (Kari); great-grandchildren: Lyndon (Danisha), Madeleine, Nicholas, Daniel, Cody, Rayne and Thomas; great-great-grandson Kase, and sisters-in-law: Sophie Skolny and Zita Buchko. Tinnie was born in Kreuzburg, Manitoba on April 1, 1926. She grew up in the RM of Springfield and lived in Transcona for the remainder of her life. The family wishes to thank Dr. Grace and the staff for the excellent care and compassion Tinnie received at Park Manor Care Home for the past 10 years. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg MB. Reception to follow after the service. Interment will take place at the Ukrainian National Cemetery, 65078 Lorne Hill Road, Springfield, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. I can remember being a small kid, hiding in her cubbie hole in the kitchen, playing hide and seek with grandpa in the basement, going to tinkertown and A&W, going to the farm, and on and on. I spent a lot of summers and many holidays at her/their house, having wonderful memories! When I think of my time growing up as a child, I only can think of fun times with her! The kind of times a kid should have! Thank you Grandma! Those are the memories I will keep with me. I know it's part and parcel of life and death, but It was very hard to see her suffering as she did these last years. I am very happy that she had such a wonderful long life, but I am very thankful that she is at peace! You will be missed by us all (Lenore, Cody, Rayne and I) but not be forgotten! Dorothy, Joe and Trush family we are so sorry to hear the passing of your mother. I will always remember her perogies the best ever. She had a beautiful long life but losing your mother is a very difficult thing to go through.
