Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I first met Helen in year 2000. In the years that followed I found that her devotion to our Lord raised every meeting, interaction, task, worship to a higher level. She was no sentimentalist, but she quietly, humbly she urged everyone to higher things. The verse below from proverbs describes her character: "Turn not aside to the right hand nor to the left, but turn away thy foot from an evil way: and he will make thy ways straight, and will guide thy steps in peace." Proverbs 4:27. It was a gift of God to have known Helen: "May the angels lead her into paradise; may the martyrs receive her at her arrival and lead Helen to the holy city Jerusalem." - Posted by: Leon Wartzaba (Fellow parishoner) on: Sep 29, 2018
