Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHIRLEY ANN YAROSHINSKI (nee YANISIW) 1950 - 2018 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Shirley Ann (nee Yanisiw) Yaroshinski, at the age of 68, on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Tillie and Stanley Yanisiw, brother-in-law Peter, brother-in-law Ted, and sister-in-law Pat. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her children, Darrell (Kim) and Keith (Cynthia), grandson Ben (Lera), her siblings, Joe, Mary, Lillian, Diana, William (Barb), Elaine (Brian), Sharon (Fern) and their children. Shirley was born on June 11, 1950, and was raised in East Braintree, Manitoba and then moved to Winnipeg as a young mother where she raised her beloved boys and made a career for herself at the Canada Revenue Agency for over 20 years. Shirley loved to travel and go on adventures, whether it be cross country road trips with her young boys - pop-up camper in tow, or adventures with her sisters. Shirley had a talent for making crafts and took pride in cake decorating. Shirley loved music, going to concerts, gardening, outings to the casino, but most of all spending time with family and catching up with old friends. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave., Beausejour, Manitoba. A luncheon will follow the service in the Beausejour Room, Brokenhead River Community Hall. A private family interment will follow at St. Mary's Riverside Cemetery, Prawda, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada, 205-145 Front St. East, Toronto, ON M5A 1E3 or Rescue Siamese Cat Shelter, 38 Barberry Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2J 2H2. Condolences to the family. I am so sorry to hear such a tragic loss of a beautiful lady who gave all she had to her two boys Keith and Darryl who I only knew for a brief period in my childhood life as they lived next door to our family in Lockport, MB on Stevens Street. My daughter Jamie lived with her boyfriend two doors away and helped her when it was needed even to the very end, it was so tragic I teared up and thinking about the times we had for awhile and my daughter said yes mom that’s her when I was first told if I was related to her as my daughter Jamie and I described her place all them little trinkets n she loved cats. Today as she gets laid to rest I’m thinking of your family Darryl I cannot attend it’s too far out and I myself have MS but my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family Darryl and Keith.
