Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTOPHER KONECKI Christopher "Chris" Konecki, 67, passed away on October 7, 2017 after a battle with liver cancer. Chris is survived by his mother Blandyna Konecki of Winnipeg, Manitoba, his wife Lusiana Konecki (nee Kejora), his daughter Clarissa Konecki and son Marian Konecki, of South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia; his ex-wife Gloria Konecki (nee Mitchell), daughter Christina Konecki, son-in-law Thierry Wildgust, son Robert Konecki, daughter Elizabeth Konecki and granddaughter Chloe Wildgust, all of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.

Our Sincere condolences to the family. Lyall Woznesensky, Gerry Wurtak and I played soccer with Chris in our teenage years (Chalmers United). We went to the City of Winnipeg Finals 3 years in a row. We lost all 3 times. Chris was our Captain and probably the 'Best' player on our team. Gerry wrote "Chris was a great player -, he was the best player by far in Soccer. Gerry.
