Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE JANZEN September 24, 1931 - September 30, 2018 It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of George Janzen, beloved husband to Helen, on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home, at the age of 87. Besides his wife Helen, George is survived by his daughters, Hedy (Ken), Ruth (Terry) and son Leonard (Kiersten); grandsons, Sean (Sara) with great-granddaughter Hannah, Jordan (Cara), Jared, Kailan; and granddaughter Kethry. He is also survived by his brother, Jake; and sisters, Clara, Mary and Katie, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Through his unwavering faith in God, George led a full life caring for his family and church community. Funeral services will be held at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield Street, on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow in Sargent Avenue Church Cemetery, in Springstein. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
