Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANISLAW PETRYK On October 4, 2018, Stan Petryk passed away peacefully surrounded by his long-time partner Irena Kosicki, at Seven Oaks Hospital. Stan was predeceased by his father Joseph, in 1978 and mother Ana (nee Gajewska), in 1940, while she was in Siberia during the Second World War, when Stan was only two years old. He was also predeceased by his brothers, John, Paul and sister Wanda. He was born on February 5, 1938, in Poland. He immigrated to Canada in 1970 and met the love his life, Irena, in 1975. He taught her to drive so she could get her driver's licence. Stan loved the mountains and camping, and took many road trips with Irena to British Columbia and other parts of the West Coast. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 12 at 1:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue.
