Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySOPHIE SHENDROSKI (nee PROKOP) 1927 - 2018 It is with sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mom and Baba, Sophie Shendroski, at East Gate Lodge on Monday, October 8, 2018, at the age of 91. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her three children: Arthur (Edith), Donnie (Betty) and Florence (Bruce), her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are many family and friends. We will remember Sophie for her spunk, sense of humour and her delicious perogies. She overcame many challenges in her life through her strong will and smiles. A special thank you to the staff at East Gate Lodge for all the care and compassion they showed our Mom and Baba. As per Sophie's request, cremation has taken place and a private gathering to celebrate Sophie's life will take place in the future. Flowers are gratefully declined.
