ROBERT THOMAS BAKER It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, Papa and brother, Robert Thomas Baker. Robert passed away peacefully on October 4, 2018, at the age of 56 years old, after a lengthy illness. He will be dearly missed by his wife Loretta; children, Robyn, Jessica and Kevin Lavallée, Justin, Jason, Jennica, Joshua, Jamie and Jordan; 14 grandchildren, Nevaeh, Ryleigh, Julian, Jayce, Jake, Janelle, Jaelynn, Damien, Ryder, Julyza, Jazeriah, Jersey, Jade and Peyton; brother Larry; and sister Cindy. Robert was predeceased by his father Robert Sr. and mother Florence Baker and daughter Jacquelyn. A Wake service will be held on Tuesday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Freight House Community Centre, 5-200 Isabel Street. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with Reverend Ron Carrier officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin, Jason, Joshua, Jamie, Jordan and Calvin Swan.

  • My condolences to the Baker family, so sorry for your loss. I knew Robbie when he was small guy; then sort of got to know him in the 80.s. Rob was and always will be great guy, well bro see when I'm there, probably sitting around with the boys having a good laugh that's Robbie.   • Although I met Rob,I sadly never got to know him.The few times I spent with him, I am left with the feelings of him as an average guy,family oriented,not a game player and very protective of family.My time is spent with Cindy,and at times I see how she gets lost in memories,and see the feelings of loss and sorrow in her face and eyes. Relieving those feelings in her and others of Rob's family and friends is not something anyone can do.I can only offer support and as I have been thru this also,stress the importance of contact,sharing time,and showing the closeness of your thoughts and feelings to those in your circle.It's only to late after that person has passed on. - Posted by: Ken Villeneuve (Family) on: Oct 13, 2018
