Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGUY THERRIEN June 22, 1931 - October 17, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy Therrien on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. He is survived by wife Jeannette, and children, James (Lorraine Young), and Michele (James Hnatishin), seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, sister Reine Nesbitt and sister-in-law Tillie (Al Roy), as well as many nieces and nephews. Guy was predeceased by parents, Alphonse and Doralice ( Marcoux); and sisters, Lea Congram, Millie Perreault and Florence Therrien. Thank you to Ste. Anne Hospital doctors and entire staff for their excellent care, as well as special moments shared with Sister Rioux and Sister Vermette. The memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Highway 52 West, Steinbach, MB. Uncle Guy was a man of great conviction perserverance and a testament to the strength of the human spirit. He was a man who knew his place in the circle of life and took pride in how he could contribute to it. He was a man who would face any obstacle with dignity and a sense of acceptance for the good and bad that life had to offer.
