EDWARD (ED) JACOB KLASSEN Edward (Ed) Jacob Klassen, born November 8, 1934, passed away on October 21, 2018, at Bethania Personal Care Home. Ed was proud to serve as a firefighter for 30 years with the City of Winnipeg, as well as running a concrete company, and was an avid and accomplished runner. Ed is survived by his wife, Helen; his four children, Beverly, Debbie, Randy and Rick, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be celebrated at McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Avenue, Winnipeg, on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Ed to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
