Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNE EVELYN LORRAINE TUSA In Loving Memory of Jeanne Evelyn Lorraine Tusa, who was suddenly taken home to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ this Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Jeanne was predeceased by her parents, John and Caroline Maza, and her late husband Martin Tusa. Jeanne leaves many memories to be cherished by her four daughters, Colleen Danchak, Cheryl Bernshine (Chris), Karen Tusa and Heather Hubert (Chris). Her grandchildren include Jordan, Bryce, Cassandra, Seth, Brook and Juliana. She also leaves behind her brother Ed Maza, and sister Emily Wasney, as well as numerous family and friends. Jeanne grew up in Highland Glen/Cooks Creek, a small farming area of Manitoba, moving to Winnipeg to start her first job at age 16 at Christies Cookies. She went on to follow her dreams to attend Success Business College and then moved West to Vancouver, which she remembered with fond memories. Her strong faith and love for the Lord quickly led her on a journey to work for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association which was such a highlight for her. She treasured her work in helping to open Canada's first office - the Winnipeg Branch. Settling in Winnipeg, Jeanne was married in 1967 and raised a family. She often reminisced how blessed she was to have four daughters. Through the years, she worked with Martin in running the El Toro Motors car business. Jeanne was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved sewing, travelling, gardening, church groups, reading, and so much more. Many people fondly called her Momma Jeannie, and Momma MacGyver because she was so handy with fixing things. But most of all, she treasured her family and friends. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly. The family thanks the staff of Heritage House for their compassionate care. Celebration of Life to take place at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 2, with the service to be officiated by Pastor Bruce Martin. The interment will be held after at St. Mary's Cemetery, 520 Osborne Street.
