Dear Verna & Family, my mother, Lillian Podolsky, often spoke fondly of both Peter & Verna. Thank you for your constant kindness and consideration of the Ukrainian elders. May Peter rest in peace in our promised Kingdom of God, and may you find peace and comfort in this promise. Memory Eternal. In appreciation for the countless times you would stop to pick up Lillian (my Mom) for Sunday church service. - Posted by: Audrey Podolsky Mireault (Family connection) on: Nov 02, 2018

I am very sorry to hear of his passing. It was always a pleasure dealing with Peter and saw him for many years at the hearing centre. I knew Peter longer than with the hearing centre - when I worked at the aluminum company I met him. After seeing his health diminish through the last few years, it is a sad comfort that he is not suffering any more. Wish everyone could stay with us forever but we do have the memories to look to. - Posted by: Dianne (Winnipeg Hearing Centres) on: Oct 31, 2018

Verna, Valerie, Leanne, Rob and family, I am deeply saddened by the loss that you and your family have encountered. Our condolences. Peter was like a Dad to me while growing up, I practically lived at your house when we were kids. I have fond memories of all of us. Whenever I hear the song, Crystal Chandeliers by Charlie Pride, it takes me back to when we all used to listen to the 8 Track in his car. Remember when we backed up his car into Baba's fence? He always had such a good laugh when we reminisced about that! RIP Peter. He will always be in your hearts, never forgotten.
