Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD JASON REYNOLDS January 31, 1954 - October 23, 2018 After a courageous and swift battle with cancer, Don Reynolds passed away peacefully in his wife's arms on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Don leaves behind his wife of 26 years and soulmate, Pauline Reynolds, three beautiful daughters who brought him so much joy and pride: Kerry, Heidi and Amanda Reynolds, six grandchildren: McCahl, Meadow, Isys, Xander, Sadie and Brooklyn, his brother Victor, and nieces and nephews and our furry and feathered family. Don worked as a Certified Orthotist retiring from the Rehabilitation Centre for Children in 2016 where he had worked for the last 22 years of his career. He improved the mobility of countless children and adults living with disabilities. Don enjoyed fishing, camping, his summers at Nestor Falls, Ontario and winter vacations in Mexico where he could escape Manitoba winters for a short time. Whether playing poker with friends or yahtzee at the cabin with the kids, Don had an infectious laugh and never let the truth get in the way of a good story. He loved movies, making the Second World War models and was always quick to help anyone in need. As per his request, cremation has taken place and a family Celebration of Life will occur at a later date. Our family thanks the staff at the DeSalaberry & District Hospital, Health Sciences Centre and Bethesda Regional Health Centre. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bergen for his compassion and connection with Don in his last days. Love Now Always and Forever Our Love, Rest In Peace. Don was one of the good guys – always there with a smile or a chuckle, happy, living life, sharing his life with his wife and best friend, and with all their pets, and giving them unconditional love. He was taken away from us much too early. He will be missed and will always be remembered and live on in our memories. Much love to you, Don. And to our dear friend, Pauline, who must carry on without you, our ongoing love and support. Pauline, Don will always love you and forever be with you in spirit. - Posted by: Sharon & Dane Gardiner (Friends) on: Nov 03, 2018

Don was my first supervisor in Orthotics. I had just moved to Winnipeg, and I was really nervous about starting my new job. Don quickly made me feel at ease. We had lots of laughs at the RCC! I will never forget how often Don had pizza! I used to warn him that he would get sick of it. But he never did! I also became friends with Pauline and looked forward to dog sitting for them occasionally. My heart goes out to you, Pauline.
