ROBERT KARL EDWARD WOZNY
Date of Passing: Nov 02, 2018
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT KARL EDWARD WOZNY 1939 - 2018 It is with deep heartfelt sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on November 2, 2018. He will always be remembered by his wife Irene, of 60 years; three daughters, Kimberley Wozny, Shelley (Richard) Fisher of Ontario, Cassandra (Rick) Mackenzie of British Columbia; son Robert Wozny (Lisa) of Winnipeg; granddaughters Sigourney, Gwyneth, Livia and Jovan; and nephew Cory (late brother Allan's son). We will miss him dearly, love him forever, and always and never forget him. Bob was born and raised in Winnipeg and grew up in the North End with his two younger brothers and sister. As a young boy he loved baseball and hockey. As a young father, he loved to coach baseball, soccer and hockey with his son, and watch his daughters play basketball and volleyball at different tournaments. Bob worked as a dispatcher for the City of Winnipeg Waterworks, but his main passion was always in sales. Over the years he worked for various food brokers until his retirement at 65. Bob was a people person, loved being around people and became an excellent salesperson. Besides being a people person, Bob loved his private and personal life being with his family. He would take his first two daughters for all kinds of drives around the country, beaches or drive-in theatre picnics. When Bob and Irene's 'second family' came long (a third daughter and son) they bought a place at Granite Lake, ON and spent almost 20 years vacationing there. Those were some of the best years of Bob, Irene and his family's lives. When not spending time with his family, Bob was an avid golfer and curler. He loved to cook and barbeque, especially for large gatherings of family and friends. Bob was predeceased by his father, mother, younger sister Donna and brothers Allan and Tom. As per Bob's wishes, a cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held with family and friends next summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada. To The Love of My Life I will not say goodbye, for we will be together one day. For you are the love of my life, my soul mate, and friend. I will miss you and even cry, too. But after a while, I know you'll be near. You gave me four children we hold so dear. All I have to do is see them and I know that you're here. So my dear Robert, I just would like to say thank you, my love, until we meet again one day. -Irene Wozny

Irene, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. Bob and I worked together at 7-Cities where our friendship began. We spent countless hours on the golf course and enjoyed many games together at Charleswood and Falcon Lake. We had a lot of fun and I will always have fond memories of our time spent together.
