VANGY SMITH 1924 - 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the age of 94. Vangy was predeceased by her husband Victor, her parents, Zofia and Jendzy Szymanski and her sister Stephanie Moneta. She is missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Janice (Larry) Grant; grandsons, Kevin (Val) and Jeff (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Delaney and Liam; nieces, nephews and grandpets, Abby, Quincy, Leggs and Bagels. Many thanks to friends, Dianne, Dan, Stan, Gordon, Joan and Christine. We would also like to thank the medical staff on N1 North at Concordia Hospital for your compassion and care. In keeping with Mother's request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, friends may donate in Vangy's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society or an animal shelter of your choice.
