Was absolutely shocked to hear of Jan's passing. Got to know Dan well when living in Canada and working together for 4 years. Both Dan and Jan are the most lovely people, and with that it saddens me tremendously that this lovely couple has been separated this way. Thinking of you Dan, the big guy in the Netherlands. - Posted by: Maikel Slotboom (Former co-worker of Dan) on: Dec 16, 2018

Extremely sorry to learn of Jan’s passing. Being close friends of my brother & sister in law, (Walter & Susanne), it was a pleasure to have Jan along with Dan to accompany our trip to Mexico last year. It was there that I really got to know Jan and enjoy her company. Jan truly was a fun and beautiful person. Dan may you find the strength to get through this trying time. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Valerie & Wayne - Posted by: Valerie Langver-Hartle (Friend) on: Dec 13, 2018

We are so very sorry to hear about Jan's passing. We met Jan and Dan for the first time at Buffalo Point, when we had a seasonal site and they were camping across from us in the weekend rentals. It was our chocolate labs that actually brought us together. We had two and they had 2. Jan and Dan soon after became our neighbors in the seasonal sites and a true friendship formed. Jan was an amazing person and will be sadly missed by our family. - Posted by: Robin Callis and Roger Delorme (Friends) on: Dec 13, 2018
