Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE PRETEAU November 12, 1921 - December 10, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Florence Preteau (Clément). She will be greatly missed by her children, Anne-Marie, Ida (Luc), Gilles (Darlene), Edith (Johnny), Lucien (Sylvia, Lina (Marcel), Jos (Ida), Ulysse (Bev), Lorraine (Ben), Irene (Gilbert), Emilie (Marcien), Emile, Michel (Monica) and Raymond; 46 grandchildren; 90 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren; as well as her two brothers; her sister; and two sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by her husband Onésime in 1966 and her parents, Délia and Willie Clément. Mom will be remembered for her great faith, compassion and love of her family. No matter how busy she was, you were always welcome for a visit and a meal - Comptez pas les tours! Mom spent countless hours volunteering and whenever there was a fundraiser, you could count on Mom. She loved it. We wish to thank the Chalet Malouin and the hospital staff for the compassion and care that she received. Mom, you were always our inspiration, our model. We will love you always and have you forever in our hearts. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Paroisse St. Malo, with Fr. Dominic LaFleur officiating. Nos plus sincères condoléances à toute la famille. La perte d'une femme si charitable, souriante et amicale sera certainement une grande perte pour la communauté de St. Malo. Nous retenons de beaux souvenirs de Mémère Preteau et lui garderons toujours dans nos pensées et vous tous, ses enfants, petits-enfants et arrières petits-enfants, dans nos prières.
