VALERIE LARSEN April 19, 1947 - December 14, 2018 How lucky we are to have had someone who makes saying goodbye so difficult. It is with heavy hearts we announce the very sudden passing of our mother, gramma, friend and loved one. She was predeceased by her mother and father Helen and Anatoli Minenko and adoring husband Riber Larsen. Valerie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Krystal (Scot); grandchildren, Miarose, Olivia and Michael; brother Victor Minenko (Bobbi); best friend Linda; second daughter Juli, partner Vic and many other countless friends and loved ones. Valerie was very proud of her dog grooming business Val's Magic Groom and had many loyal clients that became friends throughout the years. Celebration of Life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at the HSC SICU for their attentiveness and care while my mom was there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation.

  • Cousin Val, Walter and I grew up together. We had lots of fun and many adventures, often resulting in spankings.
